With the increasing requirements of the computation speed for computers from the simulation of the high speed trains and the application of the Internet of Things (IOT), a single computer can no longer satisfy such high demands. It is a better solution to divide a large computing task into many sub-tasks, distribute these sub-tasks into different computers with the help of the distributed system and make them compute parallel in independent processes. Within these decades, distributed simulation has gained a rapid development for its flexibility, efficiency and economical characteristics and has been used in many field suh as military, avigation and the simulation of the high speed trains and so on. But, in order to make distributed system work stable and high effective, some core services must be taken into consideration, such as the load balancing of computing resources, monitor and manage computing resources and computing tasks.In this thesis, a new agent system was designed and implemented based on the digital simulation platform for high speed trains. The new system was made up by2sub-systems:the agent software and the agent controller software. The functionality of agent software could be used to:obtain the details information of computer, respond to the request from the scheduler, initiate tasks automatically, enable the efficient management and monitor of the running tasks, notify the scheduler immediately when the tasks failure or exits, control the remote computer, cooperate with the agent controller, support the heterogeneous environment,etc. The agent controller are designed to manange all the agents which are available in current network, display the computing resources and network information in a visualizing way, control the remote computers, cooperate with the agent software etc. The platform could work more stably and effectively by the use of agent software. In the meantime, the agent controller provides a method for unified management and remote control to the heterogeneous which could help users to view and monitor the computing resources more simple and intuitive in current network.This paper firstly introduces the background and significance of the research, the current situation at home and abroad, and the main research work. Then it describes the needs analysis and introduces the system design goal and functional requirements in detail. On this basis, each sub-system is described and designed particularly. Finally, the thesis makes function test of the whole system. Meanwhile, summarizes the whole design work, analyzes the current existing problems concerning the work, and pointes out some improvement for future research.
