In recent years,The construction of urban rail traffic mileage is increasing with the all-round development of China’s economy and technology.the line is becoming more and more busy,of course,it bring convenience to people at the same time,the subsequent is increased,the density of traffic transportation task of ascending,a sharp increase of running speed.it increases the interaction between the wheel/rai because of the change of the transport characteristics,and increases the rail surface abrasion degree.Especially in the small radius curve outside side grinding is particularly serious.Rail wear degree directly influences the service life of rail,and is formulated on the basis of line maintenance basic parameters.Rail damage standards promulgat-ed by the state about the rail head wear has strict rules.Related rail company works departments must regularly measure the amount of the rail head wear,grasping the rail abrasion state,and predict trend of rail wear.in order to maintenance according to the standard of wear.So accurate detection of rail abrasion loss,efficient and accurate forecast trend of rail wear is very necessary.In this thesis, the rail wear detection technology and train positioning technolog-y, applied to the track geometry inspection system. The main work includes the follo-wing aspects:1. Mainly introduced the wear detection technology development in the world a-nd current trends, cited domestic and international train positioning method, and sim-ply advantages and disadvantages.2. A brief introduction to the knowledge of the track geometry inspection syste-m,including technical requirements.Focuses on the detection systems parameters and the studied parameters related to detection principle,including rail-shaped contour ext raction principle,the curvature detection principle and detection system positioning m ethod.3. Briefly describes the main reason of rail wear and the formation of the basic structure of its rail. Focuses on the real-time acquisition to the rail-shaped and standard rail-shaped matching algorithm, this paper introduces three match algorithm including Fourier-Mellin transform, the calculation of curvature and feature point extraction, spline interpolation and feature point extraction three kinds of matching algorithm, and three matching algorithm lot of data experiments, analysis and comparison, the final will feature points of the spline reports to extract the matching algorithm, Extract vertical wear points and side wear points after the completion of the rail-shaped matching. Completing rail wear calculations.4. A simple exposition of the feasibility of the use of the characteristics of the line itself positionecd.Focuses on the basic characteristics of the line of plane curves and turnouts.These two features were proposed by analyzing the the slow plane curve straight point of intersection of straight deferment recognition algorithm turnout recognition algorithm.By establishing a database to identify the location associated with mileage, and by way of the query using the mileage of the corresponding position in the database to update the current mileage, in order to achieve the object of the correction mileage.Finally, for the previous algorithm, the algorithm has been tested, with track geometry detection system test results were analyzed, and made a further summary and outlook.
