Optimized layout of wind farm and selection of the wind turbine are two important facto-rs of wind farms in micro-siting. In order to gain the largest wind energy utilization inwind farm micro-siting, based on optimal the layout of wind farm, the wake state of a singlewind turbine and the mutual interference state of wind machines with two optimal layout havebeen researched in the article, further, the optimal program was been verified by WASP.Wind field models of a single wind turbine and a variety of programs of four windmachines are established using three-dimensional software UG in the article, and thenmeshing and loading boundary conditions; finally a series of wake flow cloud images havebeen got by using FULENT method. Analysis of the simulation and the results are as follows:(1) The wake of a single wind turbine flows with spiral moving forward, its center of rotationdeviates from the symmetric centerline of the wind direction.(2) The lateral contour ofwind turbine are closely linked with its rotation speed wind of impeller, and there is anapproximately proportional relation-ship between wind speed of the main wind direction andthe length of the wind turbine wake.(3) In general, the reference range of wind farm arrayhorizontal spacing is between3D and6D, vertical spacing is between8D and12D.(4)"Tianword" font type layout and "Plum Blossom" type layout have their own characteristics, andthey are more optimal layout model. However, the adjacent wind turbines of the two modelswere disturbed each other.(5)Case for Chaiwopu wind farm,"Plum Blossom" type layoutprogram with array spacing of4D-10D is the best wind farm layout options. Comparing thesimulation results of optimized layout with the prototype wind field using WasP, the result isthat, total generating capacity of the optimized layout program is relatively large, thewind energy utilization is also increasing.The article combines fluid CFD simulations technology with the actual Chaiwopuwind conditions geographical parameters, analyzes and gains the optimization of wind farm layout program, further verifies the reliability of the conclusions, at the same time,descript the influence of the optimal layout to the wind energy utilization of wind field.
