The Research Of Applying Lighting Design Methods In Classical Garden To The Hotel Interior Design

Chinese contemporary hotels’ lighting design has several problems such as payingmore attention to entity space than lighting space, paying more attention to artificial lightthan natural light and paying more attention to light than shadow. The reason lies in thelack of scientific and effective design method in the design process. Encountering thedifficulties brought by the natural light design, the designers can only shrink back. The keyto solve these problems is to find a set of suitable design methods for China’scontemporary hotel interior design.Classical garden and hotel are both complex space environment, requiring the highquality of light environment, pursuing a kind of feel at home and close to natural space. Inclassical gardens everywhere embodies the design thought of designing space is designinglight, performing beautiful light composition, and establishes the relationship between thebalance of light and shadow. Therefore, put forward this argument: Apply classical gardenlighting design methods to the Chinese contemporary hotel. Using clever light designconcept of the classical gardens to solve the three major problems in current China hotellight environment design. Doing the hotel light environment design integrated artisticquality, ecological, scientific.This paper is divided into three major parts: the first part put forward the argument,the main object of study, the research background, the research present situation and themethod, the problems, analyze reasons, put forward solution and research direction. Thesecond part is the demonstration phase divided into three chapters, each chapterrespectively expounds a kind of classical garden lighting design method applied research.Through in-depth analysis of classical garden lighting design methods, apply them to practical projects, and then analyze the practical application to verify whether it has solvedthe related problems; The third part is the conclusion. On the basis of theory combinedwith practice research, put forward the conclusion that the classical garden light designmethods can be applied to the Chinese contemporary hotel design and solve the threemajor imbalances in the design of light environment.Finally, this article proposed several personal points of view about new developmenttrends of Chinese contemporary hotels’ interior design: light and shadow leading,people-oriented, ecological science, technological innovation, hoping that people willcreate the balance between light and shadow, total comfort, technological innovation, anddeep inside of the modern interior space in the unpredictable society.
