GMA is the key part in the boring machine. The Drive power characteristic of GMA will directly affect the boring results. However, like the other rotary machining devices, the existing NC boring machine process for Non-cylinder piston pin hole system is powered through the electric brush and the slip ring. In this way, there are a lot of disadvantages such as attrition wear of the electric brush and the slip ring, heating effect, bare wires, low speed of rotation, ease of strike arc, and even certain security risk. For the deficiencies of power supply of the NC boring machine system, this paper presents a non-contact power transfer technology into the existing device in order to overcome the above drawbacks. It aims to make the machine safer and more reliable.In this paper, I have carry out the theoretical and experimental research for the con-tactless power Transfer technology. The main work includes the following:1.The origin, the NC boring machine process for Non-cylinder piston pin hole system based on GMM is introduced, Aimed at the disadvantages of GMA drive coil power supply mode, investigated the research status and development trends.2.Built mutual inductance model of the loosely coupled transformer and analyzed the principle of choice compensation capacitor for the various compensation mode, in order to improve the efficiency of power transmission.3.Detachable transformer is designed, including the material and structure of the core, coiling method as well as the turns of the coil.4.Analyzed and designed the main parameters of the main circuit, including rectification filter circuit and high frequency inverter circuit. Analyzed several main inverter converter topology comparative which application of ICPT, then, choose the full bridge series resonant circuit.5.To adjust the structural requirements for ICPT, two kinds of structure are designed, the magnetic circuit of the detachable transformer is simulated and the effects on the transformer coupling coefficient with different gaps and coil winding methods are analyzed by the use of the magnetic circuit simulation software ANSYS. 6.Used the TINA software to carry on the simulation analysis to the main circuit and set up the experimental platform. The testing results are shown in the form of curves to verify the theoretical analysis and simulation results.This paper has pulled ICPT into the NC boring machine process for Non-cylinder piston pin hole system, moreover, design and optimization the whole power supply system structure for mounted on high speed boring machine spindle including transformer.
