PMSM mathematical model and strategy was described in the paper, the simulation model was built, and the PMSM control IC was developed based on the VHDL language, the hardware platform and its experimental were built and verified.In the article, the vector control scheme about the PMSM was presented by using the motor mathematical model and the SVPWM modulation technology, the FPGA development process was introduced by the combined with VHDL language and the principle diagram and the "top-down" design methods, completed the PMSM control chip based on the FPGA. In the control IC, the design and validation method of the current sampling IP core, rotational speed, location, sampling IP core, vector transform IP core, SVPWM IP core and PI controller IP core are descripted. And then, the design of hardware of control system is descripted, the system hardware circuit mainly includes the inverter circuit and the FPGA as the control circuit and detection circuit.
