Study On Display Design Of Government Office Buildings In Feudal China Heritage

As the witness of human civilization and the crystallization of human wisdom,architectural heritage carries the artistic characteristics and cultural information of a certainhistorical period. Therefore, the protection and inheriting of architectural heritage have causedwide attention of the countries all over the world. With the rapid economic development inChina, the increasingly improved awareness of the public causes the more and morecomprehensive protection and research of architectural heritage. Nowadays, architecturalheritage exhibition has become one of the important presentations of the architectural heritageprotection.Display design presents stuff a beautiful side through artistic methods, which stands inthe same line with architectural heritage protection purposes for learning and appreciating.However, much more attention should be given to architectural heritage protection, especiallyto the protection of local representative government office buildings in feudal China.In order to further enhance the local architectural heritage protection awareness and toimprove the design level of local architectural heritage, this thesis, based on the theory thatthe protection is the basis of presentation and presentation is the goal of protection, tries toanalysis the design of government office buildings in feudal China. In structure, this thesisfirstly summarizes and analyses existing theories of domestic and foreign architecturalheritage, secondly it tries to find out the architectural heritage display design features throughthe analysis of the Le Louvre Museum and the Imperial Palace Museum. This thesis tries tofind out the display design characteristics of government office buildings in feudal Chinathrough the research of the presentation situation of those heritages. The core part of thisthesis is the methods for the architectural heritage exhibition. Three principles of heritagedisplay design are put forward through people-oriented psychology and display designmethod of treating people as the principle. What’s more, the design methods of governmentoffice buildings in feudal China are summarized through group buildings, indoor displayingand intangible heritage exhibition. Thirdly, this thesis puts forward exploring suggestions forexhibition and display of government office buildings in feudal China referring to the existingmuseum building codes and cultural heritage protection regulations to guide other localarchitectural heritage exhibition. Finally, from theory to practice, the display design theory ofgovernment office buildings in feudal China is applied to the design of Yili general office forverification in order to improve theory through the summary of Yili general’s display designexperience. This thesis aims to drive the local building development of heritage display designthrough display design research on the government office buildings in feudal China,enhancing people’s awareness of protection of regional architectural heritage by showingmore understanding of architectural heritage in order to achieve cohesion between man andarchitectural heritage, which finally realizes protection and inheritance of the architecturalheritage.
