At present, our country is passing though a significant period that urbanization is speeding up and regional urban space is restructuring and transforming. Neighboring cities’spatial coordination and contact features affected by it are quite obvious, which to a certain extent, affected the connection between regional urban and the development pattern in the future of regional urban space. It’s just the neighboring city occupied an important position in the regional urban system and government did not pay enough attention to the neighboring city space that seriously impact on the regional development scientific. So how to coordinate the urban spatial development of neighboring cities in different geographical space; how to create sustainable and symbiotic urban space relationship; how to optimize the respective space of neighboring cities from the point of region; ultimately to promote the overall development of the regional urban system, that is a series of problems about the whole development of regional urban to explore, study and solve.
