In this thesis, spatial finite element model for continuous composite girder was introduced by ANSYS Software Programme. FEM analysis has been performed for every critical construction stage, which included as follows:(a) the stress of concrete deck slab and steel box girder at each construction stage and final completion stage;(b) the stress of concrete deck slab and steel box girder at service stage;(c) the force of shear studs under eccentric loads;(d) plate stability of steel box girder at each construction stage and service stage.This thesis also discussed the internal force change of the girder induced by structural system transforms during the construction. It was found that the girder’s properties exert large influence on the final force after system transforming and the complicate force status of negative moment region at intermediate pier largely affects the web stability. And it fatherly stated the influence of construction sequence on the internal force of continuous girder, so as to determine the force characteristic of continuous composite girder.This thesis has significantly theoretical and practical value in upgrading the construction methodology, understanding force characteristic, improving the serviceability performance of continuous composite box girder, and also promoting the development and application of bridge structure and concrete material.
