With the rapid development of the automotive sector, the consumers proposed new requirements for car comfort and energy asving and environmental protection. So it is becoming more and more improtant to improve the efficiency of the car’s generator.Claw-pole generator is widely used in modern cars because of its small size, weight and other characteristics. However, its efficiency is not high enogh. Therefore claw-pole generator’s optimization design is very necessary.Research of the aticle begins with establishing the electromagnetic modeleing of claw-ploe generator accurately in three-dimensional finite element method. And detailed analysis the distribution of magnetic flux leakage in the motor. Analyzed the influence of the rotor diameter, inner diameter of the stator, the effective length of the stator core, the stator tooth width, the rotor diameter, the roots of the claw machine thickness that several major structural changes in the parameters of the coefficient of the magnetic flux leakage. After that,to motor leakage coefficient as the goal, the magnetic flux leakage affet severa major structural parameters as the object to optimize the motor design. The optimization process needs a large number of iterative calculations. So the issue introduces the idea of non-parametric modeling to improve computational efficiency. After estibilishing the efficient non-parametric model, the paper uses chaos optimization algorithm potimized stucture parameters of the claw-pole motor to achieve the purpose of reducing the generator magnetic flux leakage.
