As the urbanization is deepened in China, the urban construction andinfrastructure are basically perfected. However, the maintenance and servicing becomethe topics. At present, the track hydraulic excavators are mainly applied to serviceurban roads, ditch or lay tubes in most cities. But the tracks may break the environment.People pay more and more attention to the environmental protection, so they are badlyin need of a kind of highly efficient and environmental protective machine to do thejob. Backhoe loader is just this kind of machine. Therefore, we need to develop a typeof backhoe loader with high efficiency, flexibility and moderate price.70%of the workof backhoe loader is done by the backhoe work implement. So the development ofbackhoe work implement is especially significant, which would directly affect theworking efficiency, flexibility and cost of the machine.This design comprises the overall design of backhoe loader, design andcalculation of main specification, hydraulic system calculation, structural design andsimulation, and testing and verification of structural strength.The main features of this design are: the design plan is selected from multipledesigns after comparing the reliability, feasibility, comprehensive performance; thereasonability and safety of the overall configuration are considered when doing thetechnical design; the materials selection, manufacturing methods and the technicalcondition shall be feasible; the correlation between the machine systems is alsofocused to achieve the optimum performance of the machine.
