This article mainly studied the AMT system of the Heavy commercial vehicle’s,researched and investigated the current situation and development direction of AMT.According to the Auto market quotation, AMT’s market prospects and developmentcircumstances is prospective.The shift schedule is one of the core technologies of automatic gearbox. Theperformance of shift schedule affects the vehicles’ dynamic property, economy,safety and comfort directly. So it’s important to research the shift schedule. In orderto meet the needs of different drive condition, The road’s grade and the load of carare the significant parameters to formulate the shifting rules.The purpose of this research is to propose an intelligent abstracting method ofthe gradient shift schedule. ANFIS is a kind of intelligent fuzzy neural networkcontrol method. It’s a synthesized method which has combined the neural networkmethod and fuzzy control organically. ANFIS is used in the procedure of automaticcontrol shift, and it can extract the driving characteristics of experienced driver.ANFIS can fully exert the advantages of the both methods and make the automaticshift more intelligent. Compared with the traditional shift schedule the driver canadapt to complex road condition more easily. The experience of driver can guide theestablishment of automatic gearbox shift schedule. Collected the vehicle conditionparameter and then extract the shift schedule.Main research contents and results are as follows:1. Using the experimental data of heavy commercial vehicle sort abstraction of shiftpoint. Obtained the parameters of upshift point and downshift point. Analyze thecharacters of shift point and confirmed the parameters to abstract shift schedule.And these parameters are acceleration pedal opening degree, road gradient and theengine rotational speed.2. In order to realize the high efficiency and effectiveness of shift scheduleabstracting method, abstracted different data quantity shift schedule many times then confirmed the best quantity of data. Proceed abstraction of shift schedule undermany fuzzy subset classify of shift parameters. Confirm the best method toclassify fuzzy subset.3. Using the direct fitting method abstracts the level road shift schedule andanalyzed the limit of direct fitting method. Using ANFIS method abstracts the levelroad shift schedule and compared it with actual shift point of driver to prove theeffectiveness of this method.4. Abstract shift schedules of different gradient and analyzed the effects ofgradient. Comparing the abstracted gradient shift schedule line with the data ofdifferent gradient shift schedule point, proved that the shift schedule generated bythis method fit the driving characteristics of driver.In conclusion, this article proposed an intelligent abstracting method forgradient shift schedule. This method use ANFIS to abstract shift data of experienceddriver and then abstract the gradient shift schedule. Analyze how the gradient affectthe shift schedule and prove the effectiveness of this method by using actual shiftdata of driver.
