In recent years, as an important pillar industry in China,automobilemanufacturing industry which is driven by the huge market demand has beendeveloping rapidly. There are many types of equipment which is high level ofautomation in the modern automobile production line. The automation technologiesincluding PLC technology, communications technology, detection technology,inverter control technology Etc. With the extensive application of automationtechnology, production control system becomes more and more complex. Takingautomobile chassis assembly line as an example, the paper will research onmonitoring and conveyer chain synchronous control of automobile chassis line.It is ofgreat significance for improving the reliability of these large and complex productioncontrol system.First of all, the research includes fieldbus technology, industrial monitoringsoftware technology, monitoring system network structure and overall function ofmonitoring system. Secondly, according to the management needs of the productionorganization, design the Andon system for help call. It will be used for employees callrequest to pass information in production line. Production information can bedisplayed in real time. It can also provide statistical analysis and generate report. Thissystem will strengthen the organization management of production processes andimprove production efficient. Then, based on fault tree expert diagnostic system,condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system about equipment of production line isdesigned. Using Kingview6.53software develops friendly interface to providingdetailed fault information. Finally, based on Fuzzy-PID compensation principle,synchronous control strategies of the conveyor chain is designed. UsingMatlab/Simulink software simulates two asynchronous motor synchronous controlsystem. It illustrates that the method will meet high accuracy requirements andsynchronization performance.By researching on monitoring and conveyer chain synchronous control ofautomobile chassis line, it will improve the reliability and security of the productioncontrol system. It will also reduce the time of the stop line and improve production efficiency. This will have an important theoretical significance and practical value onautomobile companies which want to achieve agile manufacturing and improvemarket competitiveness.
