Because of the adjustment of industrial structure and resource degradation, the western countries encountered the decline of traditional industry, consequently there came out a mass of industrial dereliction, wasteland and environmental problem. Under this condition, the Post-Industrial Landscape was born. There are almost60years of studying the Post-Industrial Landscape in western countries, but in China,it is a new field, and we should learn experience from western countries,In western countries, landscape architect create a characteristic landscape through function replacement and the reuse of the waste material by using the thought of ecology design on ecology recovering and landscape regeneration to wasteland. The transformation and regeneration of Post-Industrial Landscape have to solve the ecology recovering at first, with the development of science and technology, more and more advanced technology were used in ecological recovery. From the point of ecological planning, using the techniques of ecological restoration, achieve the goal of sustainable development of landscape, it’s a challenge for the new generation for landscape architect.This paper introduce the concept and theory of ecological planning and design, discuss the important of it,and the strategy and technique used in IB A masher park. At last, using the techniques of ecological restoration,dispose the industrial wasteland in "Master Planning of Zishan Mountain" to solve the environment problem. The industrial wasteland build the popular science area and entertainment area and art district. An application of the stormwater management made the rainwater rational use in the project.
