| Power system dynamic simulation is established according to the similarityprinciple in the laboratory, which includes the physical models which have samephysical properties with power system prototypes. It’s power system copy retainingits physical properties and minified by a certain percentage relationship according tothe actual power system.Power system dynamic simulation is an important experiment platform to carryout high-level scientific research in electrical engineering. But the physical dynamicsimulation has several deficiencies, such as low modeling efficiency, narrow analogrange, and weak running regulatory flexibility of analog generator sets, which directlyimpact on the availability and efficiency of power system dynamic simulation.In this thesis, the excitation speed controller of analog generators is designed andresearched to improve the deficiencies of4analog generator sets(3*5kVA,1*15kVA)in power system dynamic simulation system of our school, such as lowmodeling efficiency, narrow analog range, and weak running regulatory flexibility ofanalog generator sets etc. The study mainly includes the running architecture analysisof analog generator sets, the design and research and development of excitationcontroller and speed controller, and the networking running regulation test of analoggenerator sets. Combined with the engineering requirements and according to thedesign principles of short development cycle, simple application and convenientmaintenance, C8051F121microcontroller is elected as the controller chip to realize ofanalog generator excitation speed controller. The designed excitation speed controllercan realize the same period control of the generator sets, automatic regulation andcontrol of the generator terminal voltage (reactive power), automatic control ofgeneration power, the excitation voltage control, excitation, and deexcitation etc.The networking operation experiments of analog generator sets have been done to test the performances of the excitation speed controller designed in this thesis.Experimental results show that the designed excitation speed controller has highcontrol accuracy and flexible operating regulation, and can effectively improve thedynamic physical simulation performance of power system. |
