The simulation system of synchronous generator excitation is one of the most important parts in the power system dynamic simulation laboratory. At present the domestic dynamic model simulation laboratory of excitation device used simulation control or microcontroller control mode.The control system to the actual power system can not meet the microcomputer excitation based on DSP control simulation in addition, still lack the simulation of excitation-loss fault and long-distance communications and so on. Therefore, this paper studied and developed simulation to control nuclear excitation device with the high speed digital signal processor microcomputer (TMS320LF2812). The test and field operation shows that the excitation simulation function is rich, good real-time, control precision and high degree of automation. It has comprehensive, effectively realized to simulations actual generator excitation system based on DSP. The research and development has a systematic summary, and chapters introduce the main contents are as follows:On the basis of consulting literature was introduced the simulated excitation system research and development status of actual generator excitation system at home and abroad, this paper expounds significance of the development of DSP microcomputer simulation of excitation system, the main accomplished work and innovations in this paper.Then it introduces designment of LM-1typesimulation basic principle and hardware structure of excitation system. The hardware included excitation control circuit, the main loop and operating circuit, negative resistance devices and so on. Mainly introduces excitation control circuit such as work power, signal sampling-process, step frequency, DSP hardware system, triggering pulse amplification, open-into and open-out signal processing, LCD and the hardware of remote communication circuit.And it presents design of DSP control system software based on TMS320LF2812, microcomputer STC89C58and compile platform CCS3.3. It including DSP main-level programs, signal sampling and processing, data online modification, PID conditioning control, frequency detection and calculation, phase shifting trigger pulse, serial remote communication, protect and restrictions, LCD display etc. Finally, it introduces the LCD menu interface and software principle and flow chart of remote PC monitoring. At last it introduces debugging process of the simulation excitation system, including debugging problems and their solving measures etc. The fifth chapter presents effect of the LM-1type excitation device dynamic characteristic experiment.
