With the accelerating process of urbanization, The works of protection andheitage for Miao Architectural Symbols is in a blind. At the same time, Miaoarchitectural symbols are being destroyed, its unique charm and the heritage featuresof Miao traditional cultures are disappearing. For this situation, the subject analyzetheir architectural symbols systematiclally after the field research of Fenghuang,Guizhou Qinghu Miaozhai, Shaoyang Chengbu etc Miao areas, and summarized itsaesthetic value, then doing necessart further study for its regeneration design, andproposing the idea of regeneration method.There are five chapters of the paper. The introduction of the thesis mainlyintroduce the scope, objectives and research status, practical significance of thereasearch. The second chapter generally introduces some basic theory of Architecturalsemiotics, and doing macrovisual study of Hmong Architectural symbols on this basis.The third chapter is the key sections of the paper, it specifically analyze the becautifulexternal figure and nicet inner meaning of Hmong architectural symbols based on thetheory of architecture aesthetics.The analysis of beautiful external figure begins from the spatial symbol,structure, symbols, symbolic structure, component symbols, decorative symbols andunique totem symbols of Hmong these five aspects; and the author also present thenice inner meaning of Hmong Architectural symbols from the overall conception,ecological principle and traditional Philosophy of Religion of architectural these threeaspects. The fourth chapter is the innovation of the article–Inspiration of modernarchitecture from Miao architecture symbole, and taking Hongyadong Chongqing asan example for analysis. The fifth chapter is the purpose of research, it is mainly toappeal to pepole to protect this type of traditional culture of architectural symbols andget good ways of heritage. In this section the authoer also show her views, namelydoing reproducibility research of Hmong architectural symbols and doing a detailedanalysis of realism meaning for reproducibility research of it. In the end the authorboldly put forward concept of the regeneration in order to throw a sprat to catch aherring and makemore and more pepole to focus on the reasearch on this area.The whole thesis strive to make theoretical research and realistic creationtogether to do deep and specifical research for aesthetic value of Hmong architectural symbols, then brings out the inspired meaning of it for creation of moderenarchitecture. Architecture as a physical carrier, the author hope more people will beconcerned about it and also hope it will have guide the protection and inheritance ofHmong architectural symbols.
