Central South Area Residential Ecology Suitability Technology Application Research

China is now at the critical period of building a moderately prosperous society inall aspects. With the rapid development of the economy, the demand of energy iscontinued growing as well as the fast process of industrialization and urbanization.Meanwhile, the increasing energy consumption of architecture pose a big pressure tothe resource and environment. In response to these existing problems, the residentialbuildings which are city population vectors, should guide with the ecologicalperspective. We should have an overall planning at the beginning of our design, andthe design have to be people-oriented. And we should choose suitable ecologicaltechnology according to the local environment. For it can reduce the energyconsumption, improve the living environment and coordinate and integrate with theecological environment.This paper is aimed at the study of the application of the ecological livabletechnology to the residential building in the central-south China. And it mainlyconcerned with how to take advantage of the traditional architecture technology at thedesign of the residential building in this area. Thus, we can find out materials suitablethe local conditions, and have a better environment for people to live and realize thesustainable development of residential building. And we should learn the developedtechnology and theory from both home and aboard, in order to find out ecologicaltechnology suitable to central-south China. This paper is proceed with the practicalinvestigation and it gives theoretical support to the ecological technology applicationof the residential building in the central-south China. And according to the method ofraise questions, select ranges, analyze and solve problems, we put these professionaltheory and design method into the architecture technology, which coordinate theknowledge of economics, sociology, ecology and psychology. This paper is also havean analysis of the ecological livable technology of the architecture design both homeand aboard at present time, and it combined with the specific features ofargumentation in the central-south Area.Part Ⅰ is introduction; Part Ⅱis summary of the application development of theresidential build ecology; Part Ⅲis an study of the theory of the ecological design ofarchitecture and analysis of its application both home and aboard; Part Ⅳis ananalysis of the ecological character of the residential buildings in central-south China; Part Ⅴanalyze the design counter measure of the ecological livable technology incentral-south China; Part Ⅵtake the field research method to analyze somerepresentative examples of the residential buildings in central-south China; Part Ⅶisconclusion.
