The Research On Community Hospital Based On Environmental Psychology

With the development of China’s medical reformation, the construction ofcommunity hospitals as primary health care system is an important part of thebuilding by more and more attention. But in today’s situation, the design ofcommunity hospital is still remain in only can meet the basic level of medical needs,And less related to the area of human behavior and psychological needs.Promiscuousthe space environment, make health care inefficient, the lack of affinity, cohesion,and credibility, makes the community hospital visited and cold. How to use theanalysis of behavior and psychological as the starting point to attract more patients, totruly realized the development trend of "minor illness into the community", becomesthe focus of this article.This paper is divided into six chapters: In Chapter I-Introduction, the topics arepresented which explain the background, significance, definitions of basic concepts,methodologies, current domestic and international research status and frameworks ofresearch in this area. In Chapter II，the composition of the community hospitals, thebasic characteristics of present policies, designing status and shortcomings arediscussed, respectively. In Chapter III, describes on the theory of environmentalpsychology, Including environmental consciousness and spatial cognition、behaviortheory, social behavior in environment, needs and motivation theory etc. as thetheoretical groundwork for the specific research to do. In Chapter IV based onobservation, interview and questionnaire investigation，the author statistic related data,to make a comprehensive analysis of the community hospital’s users’ behavior andpsychology. In Chapter V, optimization strategies of cpmmunity hospital’s Indoorpublic space and non-public space are proposed.To the theoretical basis of environmental psychology, through the investigationand research on the community hospitals in Changsha and Shenzhen where the authoris familiar with, author shows the community residents’subtle demand of the spacein contemporary community hospitals, besides the inadequacies of the status quo. Andto people’s Environmental behavior as an analysis of the entry point, clears off anelaboration the vein, and constructs it complete system. Then, figure out the basicneeds of people in community hospitals and the environmental effect on humanbehaviour from multi-level, multi-angle. Then propose a good optimization strategy to community hospital’s space environment，in order to provide a useful referenceon community hospitals’ designing and architectural practice in the future of ourhealth care system’s reformation.
