Research On The Protection Of Traditional Culture In The New Rural Constructions In Yiyang Area

With the proposing of the socialist new rural development strategy as "thedevelopment of production, affluent life, civilization, clean and tidy village anddemocratic management"in the Fifth Plenary Session of the Sixteenth CentralCommittee of the China Communist Party, the construction of new rural countrysideflourish across the country, which reflecting a good trend of development. However,with the impact of modernization, problems are emerging subsequently. Consequently,the lack of protection of traditional culture in the new rural construction, brought theauthor’s thinking.Based on the relevant principles of architectural culture, building typology andcultural Psychology, combined with the actual situation of the Yiyang area, theprotection and development-related issues of traditional culture in the construction ofnew rural countryside are discussed in this paper.through literature consulting, on-siteinterviews and case report etc..other methods of research as well as lessons learned.The thesis is divided into five chapters. Chapter one is the introduction part. Thischapter includes the background of this research, selection of topic, research methodsand frameworks; Chapter2summarizes the relationship and significance of theprotection of traditional culture and the new rural construction from a macroperspective, which paves the way for the next chapters; Chapter3summarizes thetraditional culture of Yiyang rural areas from the perspective of typology, analyzesand summarizes the New Socialist Countryside Construction of Yiyang.This chapterfocuses on collating materials about the Yiyang rural traditional architecture form andarchitectural features and mining the profound impact of the traditional culture ofrural buildings in order to provide reliable factual basis for the next chapter; Analysisof the problems in the protection of traditional culture in the Yiyang new ruralconstruction. and solution methods and specific measures to attempt to provide ideasand suggestions for the protection of traditional culture in the Yiyang new ruralconstruction are proposed in chapter4; In chapter5, the use of the protection methodsprovided in this paper is discussed based on the program of "The new ruralconstruction planning and landscape design of Qing Xi village in the town of Xie LinGang in Yiyang City"; The conclusion section summarizes the content in this work ina systematical way, and point out the innovative points and inadequacies of this study.
