The Research Of Huhhot City Square Landscape Design With The Performance Of The National Culture Of Mongolia

Every city has the proud of splendid history and culture, the city of different regional culture has a different understanding for urban public space, the people of different regional culture has different requirements for urban public space. The problem which this paper discussed is how the Mongolian national cultural elements is utilized in the city square landscape design. It is that how the city national culture is expressed in square landscape design, how to show the relationship between square and its city, how to make the city square become the most concentrated areas city of regional cultural features. The study area of this paper is in Hohhot. First,â…  Summarized the theory knowledge of the square landscape; Second, I understand the mongolian national cultural element type, its form and its technique, and summarize the construction elements of city square landscape which represents national culture. Based on the researching the various influence factors of Huhhot city square landscape design and the related content, investigating and analyzing the application of the Mongolian national cultural elements in the Huhhot city square landscape. Through the research, I concluded that it has certain regional culture design concept and more traditional Mongolian culture elements in the Huhhot city square landscape design, but there are some problems and shortages in the form, content and methods. At the same time, I put forward some suggestions for the application ways of Mongolian culture elements in square landscape design.
