The City Square Landscape Design Under The Influence Of The Regional Culture Study

Any city has its own unique specialties and its own outstanding facilities, of which are made people be proud. And squares in the city are the bridges, from which can show the face of a city vividly on some aspects. Squares occupied a large part of a city consciously become the inseparable places for people to meet their physiological and psychological needs, since they were created. Also, squares are carrying the history and culture of a city.This article is divided into six chapters. Based on the related dataes, the first chapter mainly studies the city squares, and explores the landscape disigns on those regional city squares with the northeast areas characteristics. When many designers are designing the landscapes, they have always been ingored the climate problems in the northeast areas, so they would not add some features of landscape like winter scenes which only belongs to the northeast areas. Therefore, the materials used on the designing can not get a good effect on both layout and function.The second chapter chiefly defines the regional culture from its composition, characteristics, factors of formation,forms and the city squares. It also studies the change and development of squares at home and abroad.The third chapter analyzes the city squares from the aspects of the composing elements, designing principles and designing methods of city squares' landscapes.Due to troubles brought by winter in northeast areas, the fourth chapter basically studies the landscape designing based on the northeast regional culture, and then organize the natural and cultural feature of northeast areas. This article mainly aiming at the Xinghai Square on Dalian and the Sophia Square on Harbin to make a series of in-depth investigation, and then leads to the analysis and thinking on the problems existed on the construction of northeast city squares.Combined with the designing demands on reality in northeast China, and based on the designing specification and the structure keys contained on designing of city squares, the fifth chapter is mainly about the landscapes designing plan of squares with the northeast areas characteristics,and make every efforts to change the city squares in northeast area to the unique ones, which will be landmarks in the northeast area. The sixth chapter is a conclusion. According to the climate elements of northeast area, and in order to make citizens and travelers get more convenient and quick service, the city squares should offer some warm facilities in the cold winter. And under the corridor and the channel, they should provide some equipment for people to keep rain.when people get rest, they can offer water dispenser, from which people can drink hot water. From all these, people can play on the square for a long time, even in such a cold weather. These also can increase the utilization rates of squares, and show that city squares in northeast areas will not bring inconvenience to people in cold days.With the continues development of science and technology, people cannot keep away from the science and technology on both study and work. In order to reduce the pressure of study and work, people begin to find a public place, on which they can have a rest and entertainment.So the city squares become the major public places.The construction of city squares reflects the city's economic strength. Following the basis of city developing principles, the layout and planning of squares should creatively embody the scenery and the unique culture of the city.There are many city squares not considering the actual situation of a city, such as the culture,history, etc. And based on the above, construct a city square landscape suitable to the northeast area as a multi-function people square must try to meet the needs of citizens and travels from every aspects.
