As the acceleration of China’s power grid construction and transformation, power grids planning is becoming increasingly important. Network planning determines the progress of the construction of power grids and the scale of development. Scientific and rational planning of the power grid can bring great economic and social benefits. Baotou area because of wire diameter is meticulous, power supply radius is too long, in line aging causes need for power grid renovation and planning.Based on the current status of power grid in Baotou area, Baotou City2008of medium-voltage network planning scheme to transform old equipment, old line transformation, insulation transformation, small line diameter transformation, overhead underground cable retrofitting, power supply radius, load transfer, transformation with dual power supply projects, a total of42transformed lines, total length of238.288km, a total investment of32750000yuan.2009in Baotou on cable, overhead lines and line equipment are transformed the new construction, the transformation plan contains a total of38reconstruction project, mainly the line reconstruction project, high pressure branch box renovation project, with variable transformation projects, switch to replace the project, export cable project, open and close station improvement project. The2010renovation project contains line reconstruction project in26, high pressure sphere to box rebuilding project1, a switching station renovation projectl. The2011renovation project contains lines of20, PI connection box transform1, opening and closing stations1.Through the investment of capital and project implementation will greatly solve the Baotou region distribution network load, power supply radius is big, and aging equipment, insulation rate is low and a lot of problem, raise equipment health level and load is connected with the ability, improve the reliability of power supply, reduce emergency power and influence the safety of persons and equipment problems, achieve the safe and reliable power supply for the purpose of.
