SF6gas insulation and arc performance has been fully applied in the field of high voltage electrical switchgear substation. However, due to the manufacture and installation of high voltage electrical switchgear has some differences, and the use of time for too long after the product material aging phenomena, SF6high voltage electrical switching equipment in the production run, there are gas leaks, which will affect the normal operation of equipment, will bring some security risks to the personal safety of staff. Able to monitor the SF6gas leakage can be avoided, reduce accidents.First, this paper discusses the significance of the development of the SF6monitor and alarm system in high voltage composite apparatus distribution room and summarizes SF6gas-line monitoring of domestic and international technology development status and its advantages and disadvantages. In the second part, it introduces the key techniques of the SF6gas concentration on-line monitoring in detail. This focus is that based on SF6switch rooms, electrical rooms combined (GIS room), SF6transformer room of actual use, focusing on design PLC as the core, designing SF6gas concentrations and oxygen concentrations of real-time online monitoring system. The design has the human body detection function, voice prompts and voice alarm function, through bus, the host can poll and show the gas sensor gas concentration data and can give the voice alarm information and control the work of draught fan.
