Solar energy is the most abundant resources of renewable energy, has unique advantagesand great potential of development and utilization. The solar energy application prospect isbright, but at present all sorts of technology hindered the Photovoltaic power generationsystem further popularity and development, energy storage technology is the most importantone.The energy storage equipment in Photovoltaic power generation system use lead acidbattery in common, and lithium battery because of its high energy, low self-discharge andlong life characteristics, will become the development direction of energy storage equipmentin Photovoltaic power generation system in the future. This paper designed a lithium batteryas battery independent photovoltaic system.(1)Through the material literature and experiment, understand solar cell outputcharacteristics, the solar batteries, lithium battery work principle and characteristics areanalyzed and studied, for circuit design and program is designed to provide theory and datasupport, and formulated in accordance with the system solution.(2)Research of maximum power point of solar battery algorithm, through thecomparison of various algorithms, and analyzes the suitable for this system algorithm, in theexisting algorithm, and made some improvement and optimization.(3)Use ARM chip as controller, design solar cell to lithium battery charging anddischarging circuit, and overcharge, discharge and protection circuit, and write a program. Forlithium battery inconsistency, design the equalizing charge circuit and improve the use time oflithium battery.(4)combined with solar and lithium battery characteristics, through the experiment,optimization of the circuit design and program design, in the guarantee lithium battery use asafe premise, improve the utilization ratio of solar energy.In this paper the design scheme of low cost, high reliability, the test, can achieve solarcell with higher efficiency of lithium battery charging purpose, for lithium battery inphotovoltaic system application promotion, has good value.
