At the same time, the export quantity of dump truck increasescontinuously with the development of our industry. Some famous heavy-duty automobileproduction companies released their dump trucks according to this situation and it helped thedump truck got a significant increase on the quality, reliability and safety. The evolution ofdump truck drove the growth of lift oil cylinder. The market had higher requirement on lift oilcylinders for its quality, stability, reliability, and lifting capacity.The lift oil cylinder of a dump truck is the key component. As the important basicelement on the lift oil cylinder of a dump truck, seals play an important role to keep thequality of the lift oil cylinder and to affect the performance of the whole truck.The significance of a seal is so important while the size of a seal is so small. Once a seal losesefficacy, the action of the lift cylinder will become invalid. Therefore, the working efficiencyand effect of the dump truck will be reduced meanwhile.Compared with the overseas advanced technology, our sealing technology and industrystarted later and weaker. But our research growth a lot because of the technical reference andaccumulation for several decades.As the leading researching and producing company of sealing solution, Relying on thenational level technology and testing conditions, GMERI researched a type of seal for theSF3190type108T dump truck for a famous heavy-duty automobile production company. Theseals can be used on this cylinder successfully and it helped the performance index of thetruck went to the national level.This task did a detail technological analysis and sealing model selection according to thecustomer’s cylinder working condition. It analyzed the cylinder seals of the dump truck fromthe structural design, material prescription, productive technology and quality test etc. Toinsure the stability, we chose “X ring+back-up ring” as the main seal, used PU wiper as thescraping dust ring. The material and equipments are all imported. To keep the excellentperformance and stability, we use the latest vacuum vulcanizing machine.The seals mentioned in this task can be used by the customers’ cylinder successfully. Ithelped to reduce the customers’ production cost, bring a favorable economic benefit. It alsodid a solid foundation for the localization of import seals.Last but not the least, this seal still helped to develop the X-type seal and reduce theproduction cost in large quantity of the seals.
