Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid economic development of China, the semi-rigid road base has gradually become the main form of pavement structure for domestic highways because of its good mechanical properties. However, in recent years, the base course and surface course in semi-rigid road need to be largely repaired even after the opening of a few years, to ignore the problem of the bond between asphalt pavements layers, which caused by improper treatment of interlayer, and the the crack is the main diseases of the pavements, which can be divided into two forms:surface crack and reflective crack. This paper analysises the thermal field and stress of the asphalt pavement structure under the cyclical temperature conditions and considers the impact of the thermal contact resistance in ABAQUS.First of all, we study the thermal field analysis of domestic and foreign scholars, and use the CZM to simulate the problem of interlayer contact and determine the contact parameters; Secondly, we study the thermal field of pavement structure in high and low temperature based on the principle of heat transfer; Finally, we establish a plane strain model, and analysis the thermal stress in pavement structure with no crack, surface crack and reflective crack.This research can provide a reference for the crack design of the asphalt pavement、the repair of road and bridge deck pavement, and so on.
