Reliability of the bridge is one question which attracts most public attention in thefield of structural engineering extensive of the countries in the world. Previous researchon the reliability of the bridge structure is relatively large and relatively few studies ofthe time dependent reliability of the bridge structure. It can help to do bridge structuresand rational design, maintenance and reinforcement to growth in the life of the bridgestructure viar the variant reliability study of the bridge structure. Study the timedependent reliability of the existing bridge not only has important theoreticalsignificance, but also has a wide range of engineering applications and the significanteconomic and social benefits. A large part of china bridges are the concrete simple beamand concrete simple beam is the most simple type of bridge in the bridge structure, inorder to calculate the convenience and practical significance, concrete simple beamcalculation and analysis.This article first describes the reliability evaluation of reinforced concretesimple.supported bridges which include method based on the design specification, Loadtest method, method based on the appearance of the survey, method based on theexperience of experts, method based on structural reliability theory and other methods,This article has carried on the analysis and the research in the last method foundation.Secondly it analyzes the current research status of bridge assessment, and then itfocuses on the basic principles of reliability theory. It introduces two used methods tocalculation of reliability index: the second moment method and the Monte Carlomethod.We treat the structural resistance as a random variable in previous research onreliability calculation of reinforced concrete simple.supported bridges.and but in theactual environment, as a result of each kind of factor, the bridge resisting force is oneweakens the irreversible process gradually along with the time, therefore it should betreated as the resisting force a stochastic process to carry on processing.In response to this article on force majeure attenuation of analysis of the effects offorce majeure attenuation factors such as concrete carbonation, steel reinforcementcorrosion intensity changes, In addition to that, it infer loading effect model andresistance attenuation model of reinforced concrete girder bridge. In the calculation, because only when reliable indicators will be transformed into random variable forcemajeure random process can be further resolved form reliable indicators, the text alsointroduced several kinds of commonly used when reliability analysis methods.Finally engineering example, the use of time.varying reliable indicator calculationprogram calculated the time.varying reliable indicator of the reinforced concrete simplysupported bridge. In the draw of the bridge compared with the target reliability on thebasis of varying reliability index to calculate the remaining useful life of the remainderof the bridge.
