It frequently occurred collapse phenomenon in Xinjiang highway subgrade pavement, lightly caused by a temporary traffic jam. Seriously, it is impact can not be estimated.Engineering of highway subgrade pavement is large, involved in a wide range. The length of a high-way is ten kilometers or even hundreds of kilometers, encountered along the soil, hydrology, climate and other environmental conditions which have a significant difference.Subgrade and pavement are usually composed by the multi layer of the same material, morever, the same road is often constructed by different constructing unit which is composed by multiple or even a doz-en mechanical level, management level and technical proficiency. Therefore, different highway, and even the same highway roadbed quality of different section will have significant differences in the general, and construction reason, geological reason, the management of highway will have reason collapsed. This paper about Urumqi-KuiTun highway (hereinafter referred to as the Urumqi-KuiTun highway) rely on, combined with elevation detection outdoor, test indoor and field construction and it analyzed the situation of the highway subsidence. It put forward the control measure and governance after the subsid-ence is on the evaluation. Main contents are as follows:One. Based on the four years of settlement observation subsidence segment of Wu Kui highway, through the settlement value of contrast, the stability of the embankment settlement.Two. On the basis of the physical properties and engineering mechanical properties of subsidence segment foundation in Wu-Kui highway made the test analysis to identify the cause of the subsidence.Three. Based on the results of the analysis governance program is proposed and evaluate the effectiveness of governance.
