| With the progress of computer techniques and improve of FEM software techniques. The assessment and analysis of earth-rock dam gradually become better. And analysis of earth-rock dam by numerical simulation software is the trends. Based on study and summarize lots of materials, this article have analysis the stability and stress-strain issues of earth-rock dam and the dynamic issues of earth-rock dam foundation as well as the related knowledge of the this analysis.Major contents of the study are as follows:1. Analyze the slope stability of earth dam by using strength reduction method based on Phi-c reduction principle of FEM software PLAX1S, including choose of the yield criterion and failure criterion. Explain the relation between shear factor and safety factor and how to get the safety factor of the dam and get the possible slide surface position as well. At last argue the advantage and disadvantage of the FEM software PLAX1S.2. Stress-strain analysis of earth dam during construction and operation period by using PLAXIS. The chosen constitutive model for the dam is provided by abundant constitutive model data of PLAXIS itself. Via analysis the result of deformation and stress situation of the dam were got that the design of the dam were proved suitable and safety. The advantages of PLAXIS were found.3. Dynamic load was implemented by using User Subroutine offered by ABAQUS. Basic exploration of dynamics of the earth-rock dam foundation was implemented and this is a firm basic foundation of further analysis of earth-rock dams. |
