Along with rapid economy development in our country, the density of urban vehicles is increased, automatic transmission is applied in automobiles more and more widely. In automatic transmission, the shifting solenoid valve is in a key position and its failure is related to the most of breakdowns of automatic transmission. Therefore, strict requirements are put forward for solenoid valve detection, and the development of a fast, accurate, simple and easy-operated solenoid valve test system has become urgent task.Shifting solenoid valve automatic test system is studied in this paper. In order to test solenoid valve performance accurately and fast, the detail investigation about this system was carried on, based on the actual conditions of the enterprise. Combined with the relevant control engineering theory of solenoid valve and hydraulic system, by means of the advanced sensor technology, digital signal processing technology and data communication technology, a new detection system for shifting solenoid valve was developed by the author for enterprises based upon delphi7.0software and method.The research purposes in this paper are to realize the basic system function, improve backward artificial test method for solenoid valve performance, test dynamic response process of solenoid valve in the hydraulic system under varied oil pressure. And the performance curves under the control action of different power supply voltages, frequencies and duty ratio signals are presented, and these curves are compared with relevant requirements. Based on the enterprise reality, according to the concrete demand, the theoretical analysis was firstly carried on by the author. Through the comparison of schemes, the proposal is determined. Then the test bench, tooling system electric control system and visualization system are designed. A new automatic test system for shifting solenoid valve is established, it is not only rapid, accurate and visible but also on-line, stable and reliable. By this system, actual operated environment (pressure, temperature, flow, voltage and current) for shift solenoid valve, can be simulated, and the data of parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, the voltage and current can be automatically collected. Then these data are transmitted to the IPC and the corresponding response curves are presented according to the analytic results. Finally the results are printed and compared with the standard values, and the comprehensive evaluation on its performance can be obtained. In the end of the paper, the author presents the prospect, the future emphases of the work and the direction of research, and points out deficiencies in the research and development.The test bench has been successfully applied in the enterprise, the its operation is stable, reliable and easy to operate with high detection precision. To adopted automatic clamping reduces disassembly, ensures strictly the solenoid valve quality, greatly reduces the repair rate, reduces the manpower resources consumption and improves the production efficiency. Enormous economic benefits have been brought for the enterprise, it helps the enterprise to win a good market reputation.
