Pile-soil interaction is a very complex issue. The complexity stems from the dynamic property of soil and the dynamic contact behavior of pile-soil interaction. In the process of vibratory sinking piles, different vibration conditions can have significant influence on liquefaction of the soil around the pile and pile-side frictional resistance, furthermore, influence sinking piles efficiency. Therefore, research on dynamic of pile-soil interaction, when vibratory pile driver has different vibratory parameters (excitation frequency, excitation amplitude, vibration power of the exciter and different soil parameters), has great significance.This article describes the research status of the friction characteristics of pile-soil interaction and pile-soil dynamic interaction contact surface. It also describes the judging methods of relative separation and slip of pile-soil contact surface, induces and summarizes the current domestic and international research methods, problems and future development direction.of pile-soil interaction.It gets the conclusion that vibration can reduce the friction between contact surface by deriving the effective friction coefficient of solid-solid contact surface and internal friction angle of granular particles. It analyzes the frictional resistance of pile-soil contact surface in process of vibratory sinking piles, taking vibratory pile sinking as an example.Based on the mechanical model and dynamic equation of the vibratory pile sinking system, it gets the numerical analysis solution of the dynamic equation of the vibratory pile driving system with fourth-order R-K method by selecting suitable parameters of the pile-soil system and using the tool of MATLAB/simulik. It also gets the relation curves between the frictional force in side-pile and displacement, velocity, acceleration of the pile and base. It analyzes the influence of exciting force amplitude, frequency, stiffness and damping of the soil on the displacement, velocity and friction of the pile by changing the parameters.Based on the integrated understanding and comparison of the FEM simulation of the pile-soil interaction contact surface and contact elements, it establishes the finite element model of the pile-soil system using suitable contact element. It simulates the dynamic process of vibratory pile driving by setting suitable parameters using the established FEM model and analyzes the influence of exciting force and constitutive model of the soil on the process of vibratory sinking piles.
