In the microprocessor-based relay power system, it is of great significance toprotect the system and maintain its stable operation that the power system electricalparameters are measured fast and accurately.This paper investigate various microprocessor-based relay AC sampling algorithmsoften be used at home and abroad, and according to different signal models, it analysisthe principle of AC sampling algorithms and concludes advantages, shortages andapplication occasions. The paper focus on analyzing the half-cycle integration algorithmthose are using widely, full-wave Fourier algorithm, half-wave Fourier algorithm andtheir improved algorithms. Combined with the sampling data window, a lot ofsimulation analysis had been made in running speed and accuracy so that facilitate tomake a comprehensive evaluation of the performance of the algorithm in all aspects.What’s more, according to the frequency tracking algorithm simulation results andperformance evaluation conclusion of AC sampling algorithms, this paper also putsforward an AC sample algorithm scheme which can ensure the efficiency and accuracyat the same time.
