| In this paper, a test bench and method for testing the friction power of cylinder-piston assembly in diesel engine was developed. The friction power and distribution cylinder-piston assembly was test in this bench in different speeds, temperature and oil. The main conclusions are as follows:1) The friction test bench can test the drag torque and power unit friction of inline six-cylinder diesel, revolving speed can be adjusted smoothly at200r/min-2000r/min, and the cooling water can be adjusted.2) The friction work and power of cylinder-piston assembly first increase and then decreased with the increasing speed, and decreased with the temperature of cooling water increasing. In fresh oil, the friction work and power of cylinder-piston assembly is lower than in old oil.3) The percentage of cylinder-piston assembly in diesel engine power unit decreased with the increasing of speed. In lower speed, the percentage increasing with temperature of cooling water increasing, in high speed, the percentage In lower speed, the percentage of fresh oil is lower than old oil,and in high speed, the percentage in two kinds of oil did not change significantly. |
