As one kind of economic, reasonable, simple, elegant and efficient structure, prestressed concrete box-girder bridge with corrugated steel webs has gained extensive research and application in France and Japan, much development has been acquired by our country in recent years. Also, as a new form of steel-concrete composite bridges, it is necessary to consider mechanical characteristics of traditional concrete box-girder bridge, as well as the shear connectors between two different materials. The above two issues were discussed in this thesis.Firstly, in order to study the influencing factors of torsion, distortion and bending deformation effect, FEM method is applied to study the effect of these factors, such as, boundary conditions, component geometry parameters, Settings of the diaphragm, shape change of box-girder. The study implies that these factors have a large impact on mechanical properties of box girder except boundary conditions, and the buckling modes of corrugated steel webs is closely related to its geometry size. Finally, according to the analysis results, the reasonable range of each component geometry parameters can be confirmed.As one of the most important components, shear connectors are critical to the integrity of composite structures. Also, its mechanical characteristics were studied by FEM method. Local finite element models were established to analysis the different kinds of perforated plate PBL connectors’ advantages. The results show that the kind of fold perforated plate PBL connector is better than the kind of strait perforated plate PBL connector for which can reduce the shear stress of concrete, that also possess advantages of embedded connection. So, this kind shear connector can be widely used in engineering construction without excessive use of steel.
