Inheritance And Development Of Chinese Traditional Patterns In Modern Landscape Design]

CONTENT:Under the background of globalization, the Inheritance and development of traditional culture which is valued for cultural circles and design from each country is very important for national culture. When China has begun to reform and opening-up, there has been made up many problems. For example, how to design modern garden to meet the needs of modern life, how to develop the traditional culture year by year and how to use it in our modern life. So it is very important to discuss how to inherit and develop traditional patterns which stands for traditional culture in modern landscape design.This article which lies in Chinese traditional patterns in Qin Dynasty makes modern garden as the object of study, make some research on it and analysis it from the view of landscape design so as to find some useful methods.This article is made up of five parts. Parts one:describe the object of study, research method and structure identification. Part two:make out the meaning of Chinese traditional patterns and its style and raise out some kinds with the features of the times through the conclusion of Chinese traditional patterns and look for current traditional technology. Part three:make some conclusion on the characteristic of modern garden and the way to design it through investigating and surveying the field case and look for relationships between traditional patterns and design procedures. Choose one representative pattern from each form and discuss the way to use them in modern garden. Part four:make two modern gardens design through all of above and design philosophy. Part five:make some discussion on its development direction.
