With the current social and economic development, the car of road trafficaccidents rate is increasing year by year, become the outstanding problem. How toreduce the collision risk, as far as possible to reduce the collision loss to protect thesecurity of the passenger, the vehicle passive safety can be improved effectively,make people pay more and more attention to car safety. China transportation industryand automobile industry development the same smooth constraints and constraints,so the development of the automotive safety research is very necessary.By the automobile and other traffic tools for comparative perspective, the safetyproblem can be viewed as the safety car source. According to the related statisticaldata, the estimated annual more than500000people died in a car accident, injuryaccounted for about10000000people, at the same time in the traffic accident rate,China is currently the highest rates occurred in the country, the grim fact that peoplemust attach importance to the safety issues.Automobile safety car design important content, also is one of the mostconcerned problems for the people. At present, the major automobile manufacturersto improve fuel economy, and reducing vehicle emissions at the same time, also inthe efforts to improve vehicle safety issues.In recent years, car crash simulation technique get rapid promotion, for theautomotive simulation development has provided the corresponding input conditions,the universal application of the collision damage simulation software MADYMO,the software in a vehicle occupant restraint system performance evaluation andoptimization process was widely used.In this paper, combined with the airbag development process, to assist in thesmooth development of the airbag, identified based on experiment MADYMOsoftware as a supplement regimen, with automobile factory cars in the way ofcooperation, at the same time in order to fully understand the virtual collision process of the theoretical foundation, elaborated the simulation with finite elementmethod, focusing on the side airbag simulation Limited yuan time integrationmethods are analyzed, the stress and strain analysis of unit internal stress distribution,and emphatically introduces the side simulation model and application of thematerials, finally by writing to accomplish the goals discussed in the side impactoccupant injury criteria and indicators.Based on the MADYMO established the vehicle front crash restraint systemnumerical model. According to the simulation data test and real vehicle crash testresults, can be seen from the simulation results and the test results are consistent.Confirmed by the simulation model of the collision has important significance.Dab model is built,drop test model is calibrated,then the dab is used to calculateinjury value in the front crash model. Dab leakage switch is used in the MADYMO,dab is calibrated that has different inflator pressure.in sled test airbag parameter isgiven by simulation.
