| Along with the rapid development of the economy, historic districts and historicbuildings are facing the increasing threat of fire; so fire safety problems of historicdistricts should highly attract people’s attentions. This thesis for the first time beginswith the specific case, evaluating the degree of fire risk of selected blocks byinvestigation; then put forward measures, which can be references of other historicdistricts with reality.This thesis is divided into five parts, the first chapter is mainly the investigationof fire broke rules and characteristics as well as the statistical of the reason of fire; tryto determine the survey methodology and assessment methods of Furong Streethistoric district fire safety through historic district fire case study. The second andthird chapters through detailed field research, questionnaire to get the status ofbuilding fire safety measures, social structure, fire-fighting facilities and fireorganizations management of Furong Street historic district. Analyzed fire hazards aswell as existing fire situation on the basis of the data collected, and find out thedeep-seated reasons of the issues behind the economic and social, and institutionalaspects. The fourth chapter on research on the basis of the existing investigation, usefire fault tree analysis method and multi-factor weight analysis method to assess firesafety of Furong Street Historic District status in order to determine the degree of firerisk of different street area. Final chapter proposed targeted countermeasures andsafeguards for Furong Street historic district on fire safety on the basis of the resultsof evaluation that got.The thesis argues that the fire protection of the historic district should be on thepremise of true carrier of the historic area, using combination of qualitative andquantitative analysis method, to make a scientific assessment of the status of the firesafety of the neighborhood, after that to make a technical study for the final decisionmaking, then put forward effective targeted measures; while stressing the coordinationrole of common building renovation, planning measures and social policy. These ideasand technical approach applies not only to the historic district, but also historicvillages and historic buildings concentration areas have certain reference value on firesafety and cultural heritage aspects. |
