Firstly the paper analyzes the research and application status about aircraft visualassembly technology in domestic and abroads, then come to the lack of visual assembly in ourcountry: the aircraft assembly technology lagging behind, and the process design is still atwo-dimensional design; a lot of technical coordination problems; the optimization cycle isvery long. All of these seriously impact the progress and quality of aircraft development. Theyhave become a bottleneck of the aircraft development. Therefore, the research: visualizationassembly systems based on process lightweight model has great significance.Secondly, in-depth study on the entire system:(1) Building the consistency of the product information database based on the upstreamthree-dimensional product model, and creating assembly resource database which containstooling, equipment, gauges, testing tools, personnel information, realizing the resourcesinformation digitized modeling and the scientific management;(2) Studying the simulation technology of aircraft assembly. Product componentsimported from the product information sharing database and structuring the assemblysimulation application platform. Exploring a new assembly process design patterns, andcreating the assembly simulation process documents. Achieving the whole machine assemblysimulation;(3) Researching the assembly process visualization technology. Outputting the productstructure tree, craft tree, a summary of the work content, parts list and assembly instructionsthrough workshop or assembly scenes;(4) Researching the visualizationally assemblying system construction technology basedon the lightweight precessing model. Building a network system platform from the enterprisedata center to the shop floor based on the software development technology and integratedcomputer technology and network technology to build services. Types of information requiredfor product assembly process integrated and converted into visual form to be passed directlyto the operating site.Finally, summarizing the reach of the visualization assembly systems based on processlightweight model. Raising the system’s strengths and weaknesses as well as mine hopes.They will help the subsequent development of the system.
