Abstract/Summary:
For the super properties, Zirconium Diboride is applied to make the nose of super speed vehicle. The fairing made of that frangibilio-rigid material is difficult to process inevitably,what’more the irregular shape,so the processing can not be accomplished by a lathe with high-efficiency. The process redundancy of fairings used to be processed by CNC machine completely at a low-efficiency grinding. Tough precise,the cost of time and grinding tools is too much to processing in mass.Consequently, the technology of processing fairings must be modified and then optimizing the prcessing parameters, so the Zirconium Diboride fairing can be processed with high-efficiency and low cost.The integrated research about processing flow is studied in this paper, and a entire processing technology is worked out by rich experience and lots of experiment. This paper solves the cutting problem in wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM),and designs the cutting path in processing the fairing of WEDM by UG6.0, then optimizing the electrical parameters to get a optimal combination of impulse amplitude, inter-pulse,dominant frequency and electric current by fuzzy theory. In grinding,the parameters of spindle speed, feed rate, cutting depth and grinding tools are optimized by the orthogonal experiment range analytic method. At last, summing up each processing progress, a high-quality and guiding processing theory of Zirconium Diboride fairing is worked out.This processing theory is superior to traditional method in the height of the whole. The Parameters Optimization for each process improves the efficiency and decreases the processing cost effectively. Finally,compare to the traditional method, the processing time decreases by more than60%,and tools cost decreases by80%.
