Study On The Application Of Environmental Ethics In Design Of Dwelling Environment Of New Countryside

Nowadays, the original harmonious relationship between human and nature hasgradually become mutually exclusive and opposite to each other. Under thecircumstance, environmental ethics, as a new ethical theory, emerged in the1960s asthe times require. It surveys and studies the relationship between human and nature inthe perspective of ethics, which not only requires humans to extend moralconsideration to non-human natural existence and natural environment, but alsoappeals for a moral relationship between human and nature. The design concept ofhuman settlements in new country should take environmental ethics which requires aharmonious relationship between human and nature into consideration. In order tocreate a comfortable, attractive and sustainable ecological rural habitationenvironment, the design must be based on the local natural environment and attachesimportance to the effective integration of nature technology and modern ecologicaltechnology through the adoption of integrated design: environmental design,construction technology and nature energy technology.This thesis adopts the way of interdisciplinary studies which syntheticallyapplies the following theories, such as environmental arts, environmental ethics, thescience of human settlements, architecture drafting and landscape ecology, etc.Comparing with the previous studies whose limitation is its single subject, thisthesis surmounts this limitation and studies the harmonious relationship betweenhuman and nature in the rural habitation environment, in order to give guidance toenvironmental planning and architectural design in the construction of a newcountryside. From a professional point of view, this thesis covers some shortage ofresearches on the design of new countryside environment in the field ofenvironmental art in our country. It may provide useful theoretical guidance for theongoing construction of new socialist countryside in China through the comparativestudy on the design examples of dwelling environment in country abroad at differenttimes and regions, using the experience of other countries for reference.This thesis provides theoretical and technical support for the design of livingenvironment in Taolin Village, Chengbu Miao Nationality County of Hunan and theMeishan cultural Ecological Park of China. It represents the basic characteristics ofrural dwelling environment and researches its universality and specificity in the development set, then points out its characteristics when it is planned and designed;It reveals the influence of environmental ethics on the planning practices and probesinto the future development of design of living environment in the new countryside inChina.
