Gantry crane have been widely used in various engineering, especially for the heavy weight lifting in the port. Structure strength and stability analysis of the gantry crane influenced safety and reliability in lifting process. Therefore, the structure strength analysis of the crane provided some important reference for the safety performance evaluationIn this paper according to the nonlinear and stability theory, using finite element method nonlinear numerical simulated and analyzed the damaged leg of crane after the restoration about the structure strength and stability. Aspect on structural strength, dividing into100t,300t,450t,560t four conditions respectively analyze the force on leg and obtained the deformation and limits load. But merely though the structural strength check to judge the bearing capacity of the damaged leg is insufficient, because of crane leg’s large span structure, there is some risk on instability. This is mainly because the structures may be haven’t reached bearing strength limit but has been lost stability. So the stability analysis is very necessary. In this paper through the eigenvalue buckling analysis and nonlinear buckling analysis of crane stability numerical simulation, obtained the leg instability of the ultimate load. Then contrast with leg structure strength load, finally confirmed the leg’s bearing capacity of the crane.In this paper, using nonlinear finite element analysis software ABAQUS simulate the structure strength and stability of crane repair leg. Through the theoretical calculation about the loading capacity of the crane, provided reference data for the repaired leg normal operation, also provided reference for crane’s safety performance. |
