In the actual application, seamless steel tube is widely used in chemical, petroleum and other high risk, high pressure occasion. If there are some defects, it would have serious consequences of a disaster, and with the domestic market demand which is growing for seamless steel tube, more and more enterprises, even the whole country pay more attention to the quality and performance of seamless steel tube. So the quality inspection and evaluation of seamless steel tube become the research which the scientific and technical workers dedicated to. And this paper designs a set of high-performance online ultrasonic nondestructive testing equipment which is based on ultrasonic nondestructive testing technology, and detection application object is the quality of seamless steel tube, and it is with a friendly interface seamless steel tube defect online display.In system design process, I firstly introduce the nondestructive testing technology development. And according to the actual needs, we choose the ultrasonic detection methods, at the same time design a set of detection device under the actual work environment. The article presents the core part of hardware design. First of all, ultrasonic probe selection becomes a very important link. The entire system of signal transmission and reception depend on the probe, at the same time probe ring corrects the performance of the probe in the process of testing to ensure the consistency of the probe. In meeting the precision requirements, I introduce detailedly the ultrasonic irradiation, receiving circuit, echo amplifier and so on. This system chooses the CPLD match with corresponding amplifier circuit to design an ultrasonic pulse excitation circuitry. This circuit has portability and practicability, and circuit structure is so simple that it can effectively improve the resolution of the system. The paper selects the NI PC1-5105date acquisition card to achieve the collection of the echo signal which has eight synchronous sampling channel of the high speed data acquisition card. Choosing NI PCI-6601realizes pipeline positioning data collection, and this paper makes use of the virtual instrument platform to solve the online ultrasound data collection, storage and other problems. In ultrasonic noise processing, the article makes full use of wavelet transform algorithm in the Labview software which can reduce the noise signal interference to improve the signal-to-noise ratio, and enhance the effectiveness of the data processing. In addition, ultrasonic testing system application report makes operation more easy and convenient technology which improves the test automation and intelligence, and improve the system test efficiency and precision. This paper also completed the seamless steel tube defect color mapping the design of the system, and the use of advanced technology to cloud defects visualization and make the pipe flaw display, and defective alarm prompt. At last, relying on project put forward a set of seamless steel tube corrosion damage evaluation method.Through a lot of experiment, using this system design scheme can complete defect category judgment, position, wall thickness measurement and graphics display. It can be used in steel tube production factory complete steel tube factory inspection, and also used in detection device series development and product promotion. In the long run, the economic benefit of steel production factory is considerable.
