Along with the accelerated pace of countries’urbanization process and the rapid increase of vehicle number,under the background of the global severe oil crisis,the short supply of oil for cars and the influence of the automobile exhaust to the natural environment have become increasingly serious problems.As a new type of green transportation,electric cars can effectively solve the above problems.As an electric vehicle charging terminal system,electric car battery pile plays a positive role in the charging and popularity of electric cars and it becomes an essential equipment in the future electric vehicle charging system.The function of electric vehicle charging pile is investigated extensively and analysised carefully in this paper. Firstly,a full set of development program for hardware and software is proposed. This program adopts ARM9as the master chip.With embedded Linux as the operating system,with Qt/Embedded of Trolltech as a development tool, this paper certains the thoughts of embedded electric car charging terminal.Then with ARM-Linux as the development platform, transplantation and production of root file system are also completed including U-Boot and Linux kernel.The development and application of graphical interface is an important research part of electric vehicle AC charging posts.After the above work,based on the thoughts of modular design and the requirement of human-computer interface,graphical interface based on Qt/Embedded is developed in this paper and relevant tests are finished.The results show that graphical interface designed can satisfy functional requirements of electric vehicle AC charging posts.Meanwhile,the independent intellectual property of electric car charging terminal equipment takes a big step with the help of this work.
