Based on TEAM (Testing Electromagnetic Analysis Methods) Problem21Benchmark model, the magnetization (Bm-Hm and Bm-Hb)curve and Loss curve in rolling direction and transverse direction were measured by Epstein frame. And the magnetization (Bm-Hm and Bm-Hb)curve and Loss curve at50Hz、100Hz、150Hz and200Hz are also measured。Using Magnet of the Infolytica company’s magnetic field analysis software to calculate the loss and flux within the silicon steel laminations model from50Hz to200Hz. Considering the skin effect and electric-magnetic anisotropy, the part of the material near the surface are layered and treated by superfine subdivision processing.Based on the P21-M1and EMI of TEAM (Testing Electromagnetic Analysis Methods) Problem21Benchmark model, different combinations are buildup by using silicon steel and copper. The loss and flux of the magnetic shielding (silicon steel laminations、electromagnetic shielding (copper) in different combinations are measured in different exciting conditions. And also simulation calculated by Magnet. The numerical results and experimental results are basically consistent under various conditions. In this paper, the finite element modeling, the analysis and conclusions based on simulation results are helpful to improve the effectiveness of the electromagnetic design of large power transformers.
