Chemical supervision is one important aspect of the technology supervision for power plant, which covers a wide range and is very professional. Besides, it has become a significant method to improve the management level of the equipments and a key reference for power plant in the reliable and economical operation. Therefore, it is always an important issue that to realize the accuracy, instantaneity and effectiveness of the daily production operation for the power plants.With the development of computer and network technology, informationization has become an important means for promoting the management level of chemical supervision for the power plants. The paper generally analyzes the present conditions of informatization of the chemical supervision and makes an investigation of the requirements. Based on the self characteristics of power companies and the theory of standardization, this paper designs and develops the management information system of chemical supervision for the power plants, which includes the design of function framework, the development of platform, the detailed design for the system and its development, etc.Based on the theory of the chemical supervision and the relative regulation issued by the state or local authority in practice, this thesis tries to establish the management system of chemical supervision for power plant using the centralized program among power groups. In order to achieve the management of chemical supervision, the system operates on the criteria of standardization and the means of informationization, and then adopts the B/S network structure and advanced technology methods as well as the standardized management procedure and method of chemical supervision. The result has proved that the system has changed the former outmoded way of work and generally carry out the task of chemical supervision raised with higher the efficiency and accuracy. As a result, the system greatly lowers the occurrence rate of the breakdown of power plant components. At the same time, it can improve the efficiency of chemical supervision management.
