Research Of Construction Project Quality Management Based On Lean Thinking

Nowadays, due to generally exist of the backward management thinking that onlyfocusing on the result but not the process, and that paying more attention to the form than tothe contents, the domestic construction enterprises still perform a low level in the projectquality management. In order to get rid of the dilemma, construction enterprises must find astrong production management theory to guide the reform and innovation. This paper attemptsto jump out of conventional research direction which includes Total Quality Management,ISO Quality Management System construction and so on, and introduces the mature LeanThinking in automobile manufacturing industry as the guiding theory, hoping of projectquality management system reconstructing with a kind of brand-new management thought.Then obtain specific management methods for improving engineering quality and qualitymanagement efficiency from studying of the optimal operation model.To achieve the research objectives, discusses the basic theory and key managementmethods of Lean Production and Lean Construction in detail. Summarizes the characteristicsof quality management in Lean Construction, which is quality management view of taking thecustomer as the center, quality management process reconstruction in value flow view,making value stream effective through standard operating, quality control by visual way,continuous improvement system.Based on the above analysis of quality management characteristic, Constructs the leanProject Quality Management System. Then, use Value Stream Management’s basic principleto study the operation of Lean Project Quality Management System. Finally, combined withengineering case, explores the feasibility that Lean Project Quality Management System isapplied in actual engineering projects. The analysis shows that, this system has certainreference significance to solve the practical engineering problems of quality management.
