Study On Skyway System Of High-rise Buildings

In today’s high-rise buildings, people live in an inherent space Which is relativelyindependent and closed. I hope that by the concept of skyway system in high-rise buildings, toa certain extent, the original pattern can be broken, so as to solve the traffic problem. At thesame time, it can also create an open, shared public communication space so that the people ina high-rise building could be strengthen exchanges between one another and given acomfortable, cozy and interactive public space when the people are in the intense work.With the progress of times, new development and changes have taken place in the designof skyway system. The changes are mainly from the enhancement of the importance that thehigh-rise buildings in an urban environment, to meet the needs of certain links betweenhigh-rise buildings as well as to provide the public space which is reasonable and effectivefunctions. On one hand, these factors could be caused restrictions in the area of possibilityand arbitrary. On the other hand, it can inspire design inspiration in order to form more of thecharacteristics of skyway system in high-rise buildings.Therefore, in the new trend of development, we should be objective and give pragmaticevaluation of skyway system in high-rise buildings. By the method of scientific research incombining theory with practice to analysis the causes and composition of skyway system inorder to provide the guiding direction of skyway system; through the analysis of thefunctional design and interaction space, scale sense of urban space, art effects, culture andinternal traffic efficiency to objectively analysis design thinking and way in skyway system, atthe same time, through its research of design strategy and the advantages and disadvantages,we can give an objective evaluation of this system.
