Compared with conventional thermal power units, combined cycle units are characterized by the start-stop running fast, flexible operation mode, high efficiency. Because of these features, they support big variable load in frequent.Frequent start-stop and large load fluctuations, which cause the device to produce a series of problems, such as reduced life expectancy of high temperature components, overhaul period shortened, low efficiency and high cost of power generation. Due to the current high gas price, the power generation unit cost is on the high side.In order to improve the effectiveness of power generation, we should take measures from the two aspects of the design and operation. But the efficiency of the unit have been identified at design time, so enterprise reduce power costs only by optimal operation. This article has studied the IGV opening, main steam parameters, vacuum degree effect on unit economic, and find out the relation between power plant operation efficiency and these parameters. This paper seeking the best working conditions make combined cycle sets the most favorable operation, so as to reduce power cost and improve the economy. Taking the Horizontal door power plant as a case, the article analyses the influence of the number of circulating water pumps to condenser vacuum, power generation and auxiliary power. At the end of the article, the impact of the law of atmospheric temperatures, IGV opening and condenser vacuum to the efficiency of combined cycle units, power and heat consumption rate is found. It provide guidance for the economic operation of the combined cycle unit and make a good economic benefit.
