The LED lighting system based on photovoltaic power generation mainly include:solar panels, highlighting LED, energy storage battery, control system, charging circuitof battery and supply circuit of load power. Choose the highlighting LED is efficientand Energy saving, environmental protection and no pollution, service life long. Thedouble-ring structure which the electric current detection is used to be inner and thevoltage detection is used to be outer ring is used while charging battery, at the sametime, algorithm of MPPT is used, that’s to be sure output power of the solar battery islargest and the control of the charging of battery is accurate. Taking a hystereticcomparison method and incremental conductance method in order to the Solar cells canoutput the maximum power, overcome concussion of the system, improve output abilityof the system in the condition of illumination change. The power supply is the doublepower include solar cells and the utility, they are maybe switched, in order to guaranteethe system running all. About LED control, choose the special LED drive chip, canprovide a stable voltage and current for LED, to guarantee the quality of output lightsource. The control system adopts the MCU (ATMEGA16) which is the cost-effectiveand high-grade single chip to control lighting system intelligent.The link of BUCK circuit and link of driving circuit on LED both are strictly tested,the test results are satisfied with the requirements of system. At experimental stage,monitoring the output power of solar panels and the battery recharging voltage andcurrent.from the monitoring Data system can find maximum power point quickly andaccurately, meanwhile, the system can choose prospective methods according todifferent state of the battery.
